Hi! I’m Sherry.

I'm a wife, a mother, an artist, and a woman who has spent many years learning to come home to herself.

For a long time, I lived at a distance from my own body and in distrust of my own mind. The messages I received growing up were clear: desire was dangerous, appetite was something to manage, and a woman who trusted her own inner knowing was somehow suspect. I carried those beliefs for years without fully realizing how much they were costing me.

But over time, and with much patience, I’ve grown to more fully trust the wisdom of my body and the discernment of my own mind—always remembering that above all else, I belong to me.

My professional wellness journey began with a Bachelor of Science in Health Education from Brigham Young University. Life soon led me to Hawaii with my husband Christopher, where we started our family and embarked on a path of deep personal and spiritual exploration. Through this process, I discovered the importance of living a life that is unapologetically curious and self-directed.

Astrology became a cornerstone of that journey. Initially hesitant but insatiably curious, I quickly became enthralled by its symbolism, its startling accuracy, and its deep philosophical implications. What began as a reluctant intrigue soon became a dedicated study, starting with Astrology University and later transferring to The Academy of AstroPsychology to further explore the intersection between psyche and soul.

Astrology helped me rebuild my identity after losing the one I had been handed. It offered me language for my longings, a mirror for my unique being, and a symbolic map for my unfolding purpose. It also connected me to something greater: the rhythms of nature and the patterns of the cosmos, offering a tangible and trustworthy structure to build a meaningful, grounded life around. After moving beyond my inherited spiritual framework, I not only felt embedded within something larger, but for the first time in my life, I felt truly seen and like a love-note in the stars was whispering for me to trust myself.

Dance is another essential thread in my life. I didn’t have the opportunity to train as a child, so I chose to pursue it as an adult—studying tap, jazz, ballet, hip hop, and modern dance at BYU and Santa Barbara City College, teaching Zumba and Barre as a group fitness instructor, and learning belly dance through online training with Melissa Belly Dance in the UK. These experiences ultimately inspired me to create a new style of movement called, chillhop. Merging traditional belly dance movements with modern lofi music, chillhop is a gentle style of dance designed to ground the body and mind into a rhythmic meditative flow that nurtures feminine softness and sensuality, an invitation to slow down and feel fully at home within yourself.

Beyond astrology and dance, I’ve long been drawn to slow, intentional living. To me this is self-love at its finest—moving my body with care, crafting nourishing meals, shaping spaces that feel like sanctuary, guiding my children with presence, and honoring the solitude that feeds my soul. It’s a life aligned with peace, curiosity, and love—an alignment I continue to explore and expand every day.

I share these practices through The Belles Angels, a private wellness community, to support women in feeling more at home within their bodies, minds, and souls. My hope is that the resources I provide here will inspire self-trust, creativity, and the confidence to live a life that is authentically yours.

Welcome.
